After Medieval Minutes, a round-table around the medieval manuscripts and fac similes held in the Special Collections of the University of Victoria Library, from 2-3 pm, join us for our medieval fair of ideas, crafts, demonstrations and conversations! Medifest will be held at the Harry Hickman Building, from 3pm to night time.
Enter the middle ages by… reviving medieval activities: calligraphy, book binding, geometrical art, stained glass windows art, dance, story telling, crafts, music and magic will be on the program, along with two fast-paced lectures. Bring your medieval self!
All are welcome to this set of events, organized as workshops and demonstrations. For practical purposes, please confirm attendance in advance with a brief email (dirmedi@uvic.ca) indicating Medieval Minutes or Medifest as subject.
